Holly is a 2 year old Chocolate Mini-Labradoodle. She weighs about 25lbs and has the physique of a Dachshund. Holly is very affectionate and lovable and will cuddle on top of, and next to, her human on the couch. She will miss you like crazy when you are gone, and will give you a warm, dog-welcome home when you return. She likes company so much that she would love if you were a homebody and/or maybe even have other dogs.
She enjoys playing with her toys and can cause mischief if not kept busy. She is working on leash skills and potty training, but will still need some help before she is fully house trained and ready for long walks. Holly gets car sick, so she'd prefer to stay home than help run errands!
Holly is spayed, vaccinated and microchipped. We believe she will be good with children if properly introduced and supervised. A fence is preferred but not required.
Emmy Lou is a very sweet, loving retired puppy mill mom. At 5 years old and 26lbs, she is in great shape. She is as people-friendly and happy as her grin is crooked and adorable. Emmy Lou tolerates other dogs but is just as content to stay inside and have all of the human attention and treats to herself.
Emmy Lou is doing great with potty training, but is a work in progress (she likes to use the cement but is getting better at being coaxed onto grass). She did not have grass and the great outdoors in her puppy mill life! She does a cute trot whenever her paws touch the grass.
Her favorite things: eating, attention from humans, playing with toys and her humans, and running in the yard. Emmy Lou requires a fenced yard, or a submissive dog to play with indoors. We believe she will do well with children if properly introduced and supervised.
Emmy Lou is vaccinated, microchipped and will be spayed January 16th.

Boo is a 3 month old Black Lab mix. Mixed with what - we don't know. He is approximately 12 pounds. Boo is your typical puppy. He loves to play with balls and toys. Boo also loves down time sitting in your lap. He is very dog friendly - cats unknown. He is crate trained and sleeps through the night. Meet Buddha! Buddha is a loveable, 64-lb English Bulldog. He is approximately 8 years old, and is looking for a low-key, low-traffic home to live out his Golden Years. He is a chill dog who is content to sit in the cool weather or on the couch and watch TV. He will do best in an adult-only home that does not host a lot of people, but if you do, he'd be happier to nap in his crate than be the life of the party. He's more likely to choose a snooze or cuddle over toys, fetch, or a long walk. He is definitely treat motivated and takes them gently.
Buddha is crate trained in the sense that he likes his XL crate and knows it is a safe space. He occasionally has accidents overnight. He will eat his food in his crate and nap, happy as can be.
Buddha does well in the car but doesn't need to go anywhere! He's more content to stay home in his own environment.
Buddha has a heart murmur. He does not do well in heat so a shaded yard and understanding his limits is important. He is on two medications for his condition, costing approximately $150/month. He's also not to exert himself on a lot of stairs, so first-floor living is a must. A few stairs to get outside and back in is ok! A fenced yard with shade is preferred.
Buddha gets along with cats. He is neutered, microchipped, and vaccinated.
Meet Millie 2.0!
“Introducing Millie 2.0! She's a beautiful 19 month old Bernese Mountain Dog retired from breeding by the Amish.
Just like most dogs surrendered by the Amish, Millie is timid and learning all about how to function and be part of the world. She is super sweet and needs a family that will take her on adventures and introduce her to the world. She loves walks and has almost perfect leash manners. She loves this the most from the daily routine! She would do best with a younger dog or two in the house that will serve as a role model and a playmate. She likes to observe first and then gets the courage up to join in. She would do best in a home with someone who has former Bernese Mountain dog experience and a fenced yard. She needs a new best friend.

Meet Pearl!
She is a 4 year old Mini-Goldendoodle around 20 pounds. Pearl is a very gentle puppy mill survivor mom. She is up to date on all vaccinations, Rabies, microchipped, spayed, HW negative and on prevention.
Pearl is ready to go to a loving, patient home with fenced yard. While she is still shy of people, Pearl is coming along nicely once she feels secure & safe. She loves other dogs & would make an excellent companion.
Not recommended for small children that might chase or scare her. She may like a cat if it doesn’t chase her. Pearl will require regular grooming.
Rooster is a 14 week old male mixed breed. Rooster is working on all his potty training, manners, leash walking, and car rides!! Available for adoption lending his neuter late November.
Rooster is a 14-week old male lab/mixed breed. Not only is Rooster a cuddle monster, he is SUPER smart!! Rooster loves taking walks and his learning leash manners quickly. Rooster knows sit and down. Rooster does know his name and comes when called! Rooster likes to explore and take truck rides! Rooster enjoys playing with other dogs and doesn’t bother cats. Rooster is shy around new people but warms up after a short time. He has done well with children 10yrs and older, and we believe he will be fine in a home with younger children who have dog experience. Rooster is available for adoption pending his 11/21 neuter appointment.
Harper is a 2 year old female, black tri-color Australian Shepherd and weighs approximately 35-40 lbs. She’s medium-high energy, loves to play and run around. She loves to play with other dogs. She is very puppy like still and needs to be supervised inside as she is a chewer and can get into trouble. She is crate trained and mostly house trained. She’s very friendly with everyone, I think she’d be ok with kids (but hasn’t been around kids here). She loves affection and will try to get in your lap. And of course, best part, she SMILES. She would do best with another dog and a fenced yard.
Gomez is a clumsy, loveable, goofball Old English Sheepdog. At 4 months old, he is already breaking the 30lb mark. He will be a big boy!
Gomez was surrendered by a puppy mill at no fault of his own. He is doing well on potty training and walks well on a leash. He loves to gallop around the house, and play with other dogs and his toys. He is still nervous around new people and the great outdoors, but shows no signs of aggression. Gomez will require frequent grooming. While a fenced in yard is not a requirement, an active home for him to burn off his puppy energy is a must. He has not had exposure to children, but other than his size and clumsiness, we do not foresee a home with children being a barrier to adoption.
Morticia is a 3yr old female Pomeranian. She weighs 10 pounds and is a retired puppy mill momma.
Like all puppy mill surrenders, she is still working on potty training, and prefers the outdoor patio to wet grass. She is not yet crate trained.
She is a total sweetheart, plays with her foster sibling chihuahuas, is good with kids and follows her foster parents everywhere.
She is spayed, up to date on all vaccinations, Rabies, microchipped, HW negative and on prevention.
Kasey is a 7 month old adorable male Labradoodle puppy. Kasey is an absolutely great dog all around! He has great energy and gets along with everyone he has met...other dogs on walks, our children as well as their friends. He is cuddly and loves to sit by your feet wherever you are. He loves to be scooched and held. Kasey does best when he has the ability to run off leash in the grass so he will require a physical fenced yard – no exceptions! He LOVES laying in the grass watching the world around him. Kasey would be great in a home with other small dogs, as he is a pretty social pup! Kasey knows his name and has been working on commands sit and leave it. He responds well when told the command or a negative sound. Kasey loves his food and is very motivated by it. Kasey is doing great potty training with bells on the door. He has had very few accidents.
He has a very calm demeanor and has been responding so softly to when children are sad or hurt...he has an amazing temperament! While Kasey might appear to be nervous or cautious his tail is wagging a mile a minute. He’s overcoming being skittish and once he’s free of that he will be the best dog. He is always so happy to see his humans. The tail wagging makes us laugh.
Kasey is also very well behaved with food around our kids and has shown no possessiveness at all around bones, toys or food. He has never tried to steal any human food or even attempt to eat it should some fall on the floor. He is very affectionate and loves to get kisses and be scratched all over. He is a good in the bath and doesn’t shake water on the cleaner at all. His fur dries very quickly.
He is also crate trained at night. Cats are unknown.
Adjectives that describe Kasey: *Snuggly *Affectionate *Confident *Sweet *Gentle *Playful
*Friendly
Activities that Kasey enjoys: +cuddling +chewing on bones +running +hanging around his people +loves playing with other small dogs
He has a wavy lower-shedding coat. His head fur is so soft whereas his body is coarser. He will need grooming every 8-12 weeks (approximately $100/groom).
Kasey is neutered, microchipped, current on core vaccines, dewormed, and is current on heartworm/flea tick preventives.
This sweet boy is Moe. He’s around a year old. Moe will be working on all things dog with his foster. He was left abandoned with his littermates and momma and we do not know for how long. Moe clearly loves being with dogs and opened up already to play with the shepherd at his foster. Moe will require another dog and a fenced yard in an adoptive home and will need some love and patience. ❤️🐾
Sparkle is a 5 year old sheepadoodle. She is a sweet, quiet, gentle girl. She’s lived her whole life in a puppy mill so she came to us understandably shy and unsocialized, easily spooked by unfamiliar things. She has made a lot of progress in her foster home and she will need an adopter who will continue working with her and help her come out of her shell even more.
Sparkle is completely house trained and crate trained. She enjoys being near other dogs and follows them around so a calm and friendly dog friend in her new home would be a big plus.
Sparkle is not a snuggly dog yet but she’s finally starting to understand what affection is and really enjoys being petted and staying close by her foster mom.
Sparkle is looking for an adult only, quiet home with a family that is patient and understanding of the needs of a shy dog. She would do best in a fenced yard.
Eddie is a black Aussie Shepherd mix and is 10 weeks old. Eddie and his sister came into rescue on 8/27 together. They were 5 weeks old. Eddie is a playful puppy. He was resource guarding but his foster family have worked on him and he is doing well with eating in the vicinity of his sister and the other adult dogs and teen dog in his foster family. Eddie has been around children from 1-14 and many dogs and is doing well. He met a bold, friendly cat and is afraid of them. Eddie has the softest fur and the cutest sad puppy dog eyes! Eddie does not like walking on a leash yet, but enjoys a good car ride. Eddie needs a collar and a leash when you come visit him, if there is a chance you want to take him home. Eddie is a drama king! He likes to yelp and cry when playing with his sister, who he outweighs! Eddie sleeps in a crate from 9am until about 3am, goes out and sleeps until 6am. He is crate trained for about 6 hours with no accidents. Eddie has not had an accident at his foster home in two weeks. Eddie gets neutered on 9/23 and will be ready for his forever home.
