MAX 2.0

Max is an 8 month old Shepherd mix puppy. He is so sweet and loving. He will bathe you in kisses whether or not you need or want them. He does more talking than he does barking, but he does have something to say to that stranger (himself) in the stove that stares back at him. Max has begun to play with toys. He enjoys laying next to you on the couch. He is house trained and doing very well on a leash, but he does like to stop and sniff things. He has been great with his foster dog siblings. Max will require a full physical fence (no apartments for him) and would prefer to have a brother or sister dog to run around and cuddle with. He will do great with older children or a family with breed or puppy experience, as he does want to be so close to you.

Max is neutered, up-to-date on all vaccinations, heartworm tested and started on prevention and microchipped. If you are interested in bringing this adorable boy into your family please fill out the application at www.cledogrescuecrew.com.

CASEY

Casey is an 8 year old Australian Shepherd. She was cruelly ditched by a puppy mill family that called her their pet.  All she wants are soft dog beds and a place to call home! She weighs 35lbs, is gentle on the leash, and is house trained and crate trained. She has some arthritis in her hips but it doesn’t impact her daily life. She can have a fenced yard or walks for exercise. I recommend no cats or large/dominant dogs. She can be a solo pet!!! A meet and greet is a must as she loves the little breeds that came into rescue with her but loathes my bigger two. She has done well with men, 10+ child and women. Seniors will be able to walk her, and her temperament is calm and happy.   She was spayed in 2015 and we got her up to date on vaccines, microchipped, and hw negative. She sits by the door waiting to return to her home of 8yrs and it breaks my heart.

NOELLE

Noelle is a 2 year old Golden Retriever/Cavalier Spaniel Mix (she does have some Standard Poodle in her but it does not show). She weighs about 45 pounds and was surrendered to us by a puppy mill because she had a mass on her chest.

CLE Dog Rescue Crew took Noelle in and had the cancerous mass removed. She has a clean bill of health, is vaccinated, spayed, microchipped and Heartworm negative. She is expected to live a long, cancer-free life!

Noelle is house trained and crate trained. She is a very shy dog at first but warms up quickly. She is sweet and gentle. After she trusts you, she comes up to you and nudges you to get petted and loves affection. She has great recall and always comes when called. She likes to relax and chew on bones and just lay near you and nap. She is not high energy but loves to run around and play with other dogs outside. She is much more confident around other dogs and takes her cues from them.

Noelle's Must Haves:
Other dog(s) in the home and any children must be 12 years or older.

Preferred: Fenced yard and male dog(s).

No young children due to her shyness. No apartments.

OPAL - adoption pending

Opal is a 3-month old Pit Bull Terrier PUPPY. She weighs 25 pounds and is still growing!
Opal is a typical high energy puppy. She loves to play with other dogs, run in the yard, and get into mischief. She is as sweet as she is energetic and is adored by her foster family.

She is working on house training, crate training and leash skills. Opal is still very much a puppy, and is teething. She can be mouthy when she plays, but shows no signs of aggression. A home with other high energy dogs will suit her playful style best.

A home with older children or humans who have experience raising a puppy is required.

Because of her breed, you must first verify your jurisdiction allows Pit Bulls.

No apartments - fenced yard required. Bully breed experience preferred.

Opal is spayed, vaccinated, HW negative and microchipped. A meet and greet with all dogs and humans in the household is required.

OSCAR - adoption pending

Oscar is a 4 year old male Bichon. While the name may imply he's a grouch - he is anything but that!

He weighs just under 20 pounds and is neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, and has a clean bill of health!

In his previous life he was a breeder for a puppy mill, and it is quite obvious he wasn't treated well by his humans. He is very skittish and shy, especially around new people, but is a sweet little shadow that doesn't like to be left alone once you have gained his trust.

Oscar is crated trained and retreats to his crate when he needs a safe space. He is doing well with house training, and he is working on his leash skills.

His real comfort is being around other dogs; he takes all his cues from them and loves running around in a fenced yard with them.

Oscar must have another dog(s) in the home.

A fence is preferred due to current fear of leash. Long tie out or multiple acres will be considered.

Kids 8+ over with dog experience only.

BEATRICE - FOSTER FAIL!

Beatrice is a 7 year old Maltese. She weighs 10 pounds. Beatrice spent the first seven years of her life as a puppy mill breeding momma. Are you the family to give this sweet lady a forever home?

During her past three months with her foster family, she has learned what it's like to be a loved, cherished pet. However, she still has a ways to go with indoor-living and socialization.
Beatrice will require patience with potty training. She struggles daily with it, but that is no surprise given her upbringing. She WILL follow her foster K9s outside to go potty, though!
She is learning the most from her foster K9 siblings and has anxiety if one of leaves the room and she is not allowed to follow. Therefore, another dog(s) in the home is a must. A meet and greet with all dogs and humans in the household is required prior to adoption.

Beatrice loves children, and will allow them to hold and cuddle her. She will also sleep with them on the couch. She shows no signs of aggression. She will, however, make you chase her to catch her!

Beatrice is only 7 years old, and can live up to 15!
She is spayed, microchipped, heartworm negative, and vaccinated.

cupid - ADOPTION PENDING

Cupid is a 1 year old male, Miniature Poodle. He likely won't get much bigger than his current 11-pound frame. He spent the first year of his life living at a puppy mill, and did not have proper socialization or home skills. He is a timid guy, but is coming out of shell more each day. He needs a patient owner to help him with leash walking, potty training and crate training. He will take time to warm up to his new family but is affectionate once comfortable. He shows no signs of aggression towards humans or other dogs.

Because he is timid, we recommend a home with older children or experienced dog owners to introduce Cupid to a life of noise and rapid movement. Cupid is neutered, vaccinated, Heartworm negative and microchipped. Prior to applying, please be mindful that Mini Poodles can live 18 years, and that rehoming senior dogs is traumatizing.

HARLEY - ADOPTION PENDING

Harley is a 6-month-old female Great Pyrenees mix puppy. She is super sweet and loving. She wants to be everyone's friend. She does well on the leash and is working on her house breaking. She is crate trained but would rather just be by you. Some of her favorite things to do are play with toys, nap and eat toilet paper. She does not care for car rides but is learning.

She has the cutest soft snore when she's asleep. Harley will be a large dog at over 80 lb. She has done well with her foster siblings that are both big and small. She will require a full physical fence. She would love to run around with a new brother or sister. She will be spayed, up-to-date on all age appropriate vaccinations, microchipped and started on heartworm prevention. If you are interested in bringing this sweet baby into your life, please fill out the application at www.cledogrescuecrew.com/application.

ROMEO - ADOPTION PENDING

Romeo is an adorable, male, 7-month old Bichon Frise puppy. He weighs 10 lbs. He loves to be his human's shadow, so his human must be quick on their feet or else! He also wants to be your favorite lap dog. He has a gentle style of play, thus can be a solo dog or paired with other docile-playing dogs.

Romeo is crate trained but will cry for a few minutes until he settles down. He is not treat motivated but responds well to praise!

Romeo can live in an apartment or house. If you have a fenced yard, it must be very secure--he is an escape artist and can get under and between fencing. He is doing great with potty-training.

We believe he will be fine with children who have experienced dog-owning parents to properly introduce and train. He is working on getting to know his feline foster siblings.
Romeo is neutered, microchipped, HW negative and fully vaccinated.

VALENTINA - ADOPTION PENDING

Valentina is a 3 year old Chestnut Pomeranian. She is full grown at 11 pounds. She spent the first 3 years of her life as a puppy mill breeding dog. Despite her upbringing, Valentina is a fun, loving, playful dog. Her foster family adores her and describes her as "fantastic."

Valentina is still skittish when first approached, but once she trusts you, she will allow you to pick her up and cuddle (on her terms; she prefers to sleep in her own space). She loves having a lot of space to play indoors and outdoors, and hates a crate. She is nondestructive and currently spends her days with her foster siblings, uncrated. She knows outside is for potty or to use a pee pad near the door.

Valentina requires another dog in the home, as she is at her happiest following her foster siblings around and still learning life as a pet. Because she is skittish and will run, a secure, fenced yard with no gaps is required. She is not leash trained and prefers outdoor freedom to a leash.Valentina does fine with humans of all ages, dogs and cats. She is microchipped, spayed, heartworm negative and fully vaccinated.

Prior to applying, please be mindful that Pomeranians can live 16 years, and that rehoming senior dogs is traumatizing.
